FAQs

Why should our church host Night to Shine?

Individuals with disabilities are one of the largest underreached people groups in the world for the Gospel. We believe the Church is not complete without people with disabilities, and that Scripture clearly calls us to care for and serve the most vulnerable among us (Isaiah 58:10, Luke 14:12–14). Night to Shine creates a unique opportunity for your church to engage your congregation and welcome people in your community who may otherwise never step inside a church. We’ve seen local businesses, college students, and community leaders come together around one purpose—celebrating and loving individuals and families experiencing disability.

What support and resources does TTF provide for host churches?

Each host church is responsible for planning and hosting their local expression of Night to Shine, but you won’t do it alone. Once approved, our team will walk alongside you throughout the process with support, encouragement, and a centralized hub of resources for every stage of planning and execution. The event is also designed to be volunteer-led, making it possible for churches of all sizes to host.

What support is available after Night to Shine?

We pray Night to Shine is just the beginning. Many churches continue building relationships with individuals and families living with disability long after the event ends. Through Shine On, a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation, churches can find encouragement and resources to help foster belonging and community year-round.

What is the application process like?

1) Fill out an application to host. 2) If your church is accepted, someone from our team will reach out. 3) Start planning and preparing with the resources provided!

How much will it cost?

Because the event is free to attendees, we know there’s a cost behind the scenes. Churches hosting Night to Shine for the first, second, or third time are eligible to apply for a grant to help cover event costs. During the application, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for a financial grant if needed.
